The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently going to the Fernie 2 Community Hall in Mpuluzi to render expert services towards the community.

SASSA will likely be rendering companies for example new social grant applications, change of payment method, client treatment enquiries, and also the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In an announcement, the agency said it truly is alarmed with regards to the significant range of people relying on social grants for survival.
“The goal in the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to your significant amount of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This is mainly because of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no fully functional office focused on service the area daily. The provider place made for intervention experiences a significant influx of potential beneficiaries, that makes it tough for the office to attend to all people who visit a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise extra assets SRD to enable the servicing of all shoppers and boost usage of Social Assistance expert services,” the agency said.
